About William
William has a strong ability to read people and situations.
He often picks up on the things that aren't being said, which allows him to look beyond the surface of a problem and understand what might actually be going on.
He’s also direct and honest, but thoughtful in the way he communicates. One of his biggest strengths is being able to offer a different perspective, helping clients look at a situation from an angle they may not have considered before. Rather than simply telling someone what to do, William gives his clients the information, guidance and perspective they need to weigh things up, make their own decisions and feel confident in the direction they choose.
"Make a choice, then make it
the best decision you've ever made."
is what stops us from moving forward. I packed my life and moved away from everything I'd ever known to a
place where I knew no one, and learnt that a choice only becomes the right one if you commit to making it work.
Where It Started I dropped out of my degree and started again Click to read more
I've loved tennis since I was a kid, but fitness itself wasn't really on my radar for a long time. I was three years into a degree I wasn't passionate about when I made the decision to drop out and start again with an Exercise & Sport Science degree. Around the same time, I'd also reached my heaviest weight and wasn't particularly happy with where I was in my own life. Changing degrees and starting to take my own health more seriously ended up putting me on a completely different path.
Learning the Hard Way I dropped 8kg but still wasn't happy with what I saw Click to read more
When I first tried to lose weight, I had no idea what I was doing and ended up starving myself. I lost 8kg, which felt huge at the time, but I still wasn't happy with what I saw in the mirror. I know what it's like to hate your reflection, reach for junk food when you're stressed and have zero confidence walking into a gym. I know what it's like to become obsessed with the number on the scale and let one bad day ruin your whole week. I've been through all of it, and it's taken a lot of learning and reflection to overcome it.
Finding What I Wanted to Do That led me to continue studying and become a physiotherapist Click to read more
As I went further into Exercise & Sport Science, health and fitness became something I could genuinely see myself building a career around. Helping people had always been something I naturally gravitated towards. Whether I was managing a team, coaching sport or mentoring someone, I always found myself wanting to guide and support the people around me. By the time I finished my degree, I knew I wanted my career to revolve around helping people improve their health and quality of life. That led me to continue studying and eventually become a physiotherapist.
Changing the Way I Saw Transformation Transformation isn't just a number on the scale Click to read more
Going through my own journey with Timeless coaching changed what transformation meant to me. For a long time, I thought progress was mostly about what I weighed or what I saw in the mirror. But I've learnt that transformation is also about how you feel and what you start to believe you're capable of. Having experienced the insecurity, stress eating and fear of being judged at the gym myself means I understand that there can be a lot more happening beneath the surface than simply whether someone is following their plan. That's something I carry with me when I coach people today.
Becoming a Coach at Timeless It honestly came out of nowhere Click to read more
It honestly came out of nowhere. Allan and I have been friends for almost 15 years, having first met back in Year 7, and years later he ended up coaching me through my own transformation. By the time we caught up over coffee some time later, he'd since launched Timeless. I told him how much I loved helping and supporting people while personal training during my placement, and that I genuinely loved doing it for free. That conversation was what led to him bringing me on as a coach. Having already experienced firsthand, as his client, the genuine care Allan has for helping people become the best version of themselves, I knew the values Timeless was built on. Joining felt like the obvious next step because it's the exact same standard of care I want to pass on to everyone I coach.
